With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Raheem is a highly experienced anaesthesiologist in Dubai who specialises in both anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. A graduate of the University of Baghdad, he holds dual qualifications from Iraq and the UK, including a dual Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and advanced training in anaesthesia, intensive care, and pain management.
Before joining King’s College Hospital Dubai, Dr. Abdulraheem worked as a consultant in the UK and completed a clinical fellowship at King’s College Hospital London in 2003. Today, he leads the Intensive Care Unit at King’s, where he provides expert care for critically ill patients, including those undergoing complex surgeries like liver transplants.
At King’s Liver Transplant Centre of Excellence, he works closely with surgeons, physicians, and nursing teams to ensure seamless care from start to finish.
