The liver and kidney team at King’s Transplant Centre of Excellence in Dubai is led by internationally recognised transplant surgeons Prof. Mohamed Rela and Dr. Rehan Saif, Hepatologists Dr Kaiser Raja and Dr. Farooq Khan and are supported by a dedicated team of specialists in intensive care, anaesthesia, interventional radiology, liver and renal pathology, oncology, and infectious diseases as well as highly skilled nurses, transplant coordinators, psychologists, counsellors, dieticians and physiotherapists, with each playing an essential role in the overall care of the patient. The majority of our staff have been trained at King’s Transplant Centre of Excellence, London and have experience in working at large volume transplant centres. Our centre’s multidisciplinary approach is unique and brings cohesiveness to the overall care of patients suffering from end-stage liver disease, liver failure, liver cancer, chronic kidney disease and kidney failure.
