
Dr Rehan Saif

Dr Rehan is a UK-trained hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgeon and abdominal multi-organ transplantologist, with over 13 years of higher surgical training in the UK. He is an expert multi-organ transplant surgeon with experience in both deceased and living donor transplants.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rehan has been involved in hundreds of major transplant programmes involving around 400 liver, 300 kidney, and 50 pancreas transplants, including complex multi-organ cases. He has also been instrumental in establishing both a dedicated HPB and a Transplant Unit in Abu Dhabi.
He completed his MBBS and MS before moving to the UK, where he achieved MRCS, FRCS, and CCT, in addition to FEBS (HPB Surgery) and the European Diploma in Transplantation (HESPERIS). His advanced training includes fellowships in minimally invasive HPB surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago (Robotic HPB) and Kaohsiung, Taiwan (Transplantation).
