Dr. Siddiq Anwar is a UK and US-trained consultant nephrologist and abdominal multi-organ transplantologist, with over two decades of higher clinical experience. He is an international expert in medical nephrology and transplant care, with extensive experience in managing complex acute and chronic kidney conditions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Siddiq has been a pioneering figure in advanced renal care, playing an instrumental role in expanding global transplant services, including helping establish the landmark UAE Paired Kidney Donation Program.
By practicing as a leading transplant and interventional nephrologist in Dubai at King’s College Hospital London, he brings the high standards, data-driven methodologies, and clinical expertise of Western medicine to patients in the Middle East.
He completed his MBBS before moving to the UK, where he completed his specialist renal training through the prestigious South Thames Renal Rotation, including intensive transplant training at Guy’s Hospital and St George’s Hospital in London—achieving MRCS, MRCP (UK), CCT (Nephrology & General Internal Medicine), and being elected FRCP (London).
His advanced training includes fellowships in Nephrology and Renal Transplantation at the world-renowned Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA, alongside being named a Fellow of the International Society of Nephrology (FISN) and the American Society of Nephrology (FASN).
